About the Baltimore Chapter of AEE
The Baltimore Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers was chartered on December 3rd, 1998, with a mission to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster cooperative action in advancing the common purposes of its members and to promote activities designed to enable the industry to be conducted with the greatest economy and efficiency.
Monthly Meetings
The Baltimore Chapter meets on typically the first Thursday of each month, except for June, July, August, November and December. Most meetings are dinner meetings which are typically held local restaurants in the Baltimore area. Some meetings are field trips to area sites which add to the interest of the evening's topic of discussion.
Board Meetings
The Board of Directors meet the second Tuesday of every month. Board meetings usually run about one hour. Members are welcome to attend the Board meetings and make comments to the Board (The Board is not obligated to respond to comments). Visitors that are not members of the Association should contact the President or another officer to obtain permission to attend a Board meeting
